Dr. Kristen Prescott's credentials include a Doctorate of Medicine, Tufts University School of Medicine, 1997; Pediatric Residency at INOVA Fairfax Hospital for Children, Falls Church, Virginia, 2000; Board Certification in Pediatrics, 2000; Faculty of the American Academy of Pediatrics, 2000; New Hampshire Chapter Breastfeeding Coordinator to the American Academy of Pediatrics; International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, 2005; and Member of Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine, 2005.

Dr. Prescott is the only Pediatrician in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire who is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant providing specialized in-office breast-feeding consultation.
